Austin Griffith of Stinergy built the Satellite Chasers app as a Commercial app. This service is provided by Austin Griffith and Stinergy, and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information for anyone who has decided to use the app.

Upon creating an account, you agree to be a part of our Leaderboard. From the Leaderboard, users are able to see the following information associated with each others accounts:

Username
Personal Description
Total Points
Total Check Ins
Number of Satellites Seen

This is simply done to engage users in a competitive environment, and keep them coming back after the first visit.

Location services are used once at the start of the app to determine nearby satellites. It is only stored for the duration of the session, and is never sent anywhere.

Security

I value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.

For those seeking technical details: passwords are stored as salted/hashed entities to render the data useless to hackers.
